Traffic Incident Management and Emergency Management Support

As the Prime Consultant, Drive provided comprehensive statewide Traffic Incident Management (TIM) and emergency management support services. Work under this project included:

• The development, deployment, and maintenance of a statewide E-Learning program for Pennsylvania’s SHRP2 Traffic Incident Management training.
• The development and review of Traffic Management Plans
• Providing TIM training to internal and external stakeholders
• Developing TIM Guidelines and the overall TIM Program
• Assisting in modernization of the PTC’s “Plan X” detour program
• The development of Emergency Access Gate signing
• Facilitating incident After Action Reviews.
• Assisting during activations of the Turnpike Command Center and PEMA in role as 24/7 on-call Planning Chief
• Administration of the PennTIME statewide TIM program and website design
• Assisting in the development of a statewide TIM Training Facility (PennSTART)
• Updating Standard Operating Guidelines (SOGs) for the Turnpike Traffic Operations Center
• Managing training video production for Turnpike maintenance personnel
• Managing training video production support for Traffic Operations Center (TOC) personnel for emergency access gate remote operations software.
